Public Safety Notice: Off-Campus Robbery Reported

No injuries reported but several personal items taken

Crime Alert

Durham police are investigating the armed robbery of two students late Monday night. The robbery occurred on Swift Avenue near Main Street and the railroad tracks. There are three suspects described:  
1. Male, black, six feet, 20 to 25 years old, wearing gray hoodie and armed with a black handgun;
2. Male, black, 18 to 20, wearing Duke Track and Field pullover;
3. Third subject driving a older model dark sedan, possibly a Pontiac.  

The car was last seen turning onto Erwin Road.

No injuries were reported, but several personal items were taken, including cell phones.
