Duke’s online Event Calendar has a new look and many updated features to enable Duke units to better promote events and help the public keep up with that’s happening on campus.
The makeover includes a new Featured Events landing page highlighting community-wide events, a mobile-responsive design consistent with the university homepage and DukeToday, improved browsing with drop-down menus and a recent activity link. There’s also an option to upload images while the site maintains key functionality to feed events to departmental websites.
The Event Calendar is the source for information on more than 10,000 annual campus events, which are sponsored by more than 850 groups and contributed by 800 user/administrators.
Anyone with a Duke NetID can submit an event for consideration. To set up calendar administrators or create a new group, go to http://calendar.duke.edu/help.
