Duke Transit will begin its full Fall 2017 service on August 28 with incremental service increases the week of Aug. 21 for students arriving early to campus.

The 2017-18 transit service will be similar to 2016-17 with some enhancements, including weekday service on the SWX: Swift Express bus from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 12 a.m., Monday through Friday. The SWX service expansion is intended to increase bus frequency and capacity for students living along Swift Avenue.

Other changes for Fall 2017 include minor adjustments to the C3: East-Science evening service schedule from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. to account for heavy traffic during this period. The C3 evening service will also add a stop on Duke University Road at Chapel Drive for students and employees returning to Duke University Road lots from West Campus.

From Aug. 21-27, campus bus service will return on the C1, CSW, C2 and CCX, C3: East-Science (not the class change bus), and the Swift Express. The H2, H5, H6 and PR1 will continue service along with the LL, which will increase in frequency to 15-minute service during peak periods. Review service details for Aug. 21- 27 here.

On Aug. 28, full transit service for 2017-18 will start to include the C3: Class Change, and C4: Central-West. See service details for Aug. 28-Dec. 18 here.
