Two Free Nights with Washington Duke Inn Deal
Duke employees get 25 percent off Executive Club membership, which includes dining discounts and more
Elizabeth and Alex Beguinet purchased an Executive Club membership to the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club’s as soon as they were offered.
The deal included free nights, savings on meals and other perks.
“We jumped on it,” said Elizabeth Beguinet, program coordinator for Duke’s fencing teams. “We recognized the value.”
The discount on “Classic” memberships in the Executive Club at the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club returns with 25 percent off the membership for employees who join for the first time before November 30. Normally $379 per year, the Classic membership is $284. The platinum membership, which is designed for groups, is available at a reduced rate of $924 through November 30.
Among the Classic membership benefits:
- Two complimentary guest room nights
- Unlimited number of dining discounts that can be as much as 50 percent off
- Complimentary Saturday brunch for two
- Complimentary small meeting and dining room rental
The part of the Classic membership the Beguinets use most often is the discounts for the Fairview Dining Room, which is a AAA Four Diamond, Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star rated restaurant.
“If you’re there regularly, they know your name, they know what you like,” said Elizabeth Beguinet, whose husband, Alex, is Duke’s fencing coach. “It’s just wonderful.”
She said they also use the free nights as part of their membership when family visits from out of town.
“This is so handy for us,” she said.
