Solly Granatstein: Scientists are conservative, but as journalists we want to push them.

On Feb. 12, journalist and documentary filmmaker Solly Granatstein gave a talk on “Presenting Science to a Lay Audience: The Human Factor," using examples from his Emmy Award-winning TV series on climate change, “Years of Living Dangerously.” Sponsored by Population Health Sciences and the School of Medicine, the event was aimed at helping researchers effectively communicate their science to a broader audience.
