Andrew Young: We don't expect the world to be just. We are born to struggle, and the reward is to make it better

American politician, diplomat and activist Andrew Young spoke at an event on April 12 celebrating the naming of an educational enrichment program for middle and high school students in the Durham Public Schools after Hank and Billye Suber Aaron. A colleague and friend of Martin Luther King, Young has served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, was the 14th US ambassador to the United Nations and was the mayor of Atlanta. The event was presented by the Samuel DuBois Cook Center on Social Equity.
