In this edition of New in Duke Blue, Antwan Lofton, Vice President of Duke Human Resources, sits down with Lisa Goodlett, Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer for Duke University Health System.
Goodlett joined Duke in the spring of 2024 after serving as the System Chief Financial Officer for the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), an integrated health system with over 750 care locations and 16 hospitals throughout South Carolina.
During the interview, Goodlett describes her role, career shift into academia and what sold her on Duke.
“When I got here, the chemistry of the team, my peers and my team was just an incredible magnet” Goodlett said.
