Get Outdoors

While we have plenty of cold weather ahead, there’s nothing wrong with sharing gifts that can be enjoyed when things warm up and we can get outdoors. How about this 24-can cooler for your next adventure? There’s also a handy foldable table that would be perfect for a picnic or camping trip. Find more outdoors-themed gift options here.

Hit the Links

Bring your Duke pride to the course with some of the many golf-themed gifts available from Duke University Stores. Among them are a golf umbrella and this rope hat that has timeless style.

If you want someone to be a life-long Duke fan, they’ve got to start early. You can do just that with these fun Duke gifts for little ones, including a Duke basketball onesie, a youth-sized warm hoodie and a T-shirt featuring a little devil. Find all of these and more at Duke University Stores.

Duke Pride, Holiday Cheer

Duke University Stores offers a range of holiday-themed gifts and ornaments. This year, you can spread your Duke pride and holiday cheer with a tree-shaped ornament featuring the standing Blue Devil logo or a round ornament with whimsical depictions of Duke scenes by artist Julia Gash. And with Duke Lemur Center ornaments featuring several kinds of lemurs, you can also showcase some of Duke’s cutest residents on your tree.

Don’t forget your four-legged loved ones. You can show them the love this holiday season with a chew toy that proclaims their love of Duke, a reversable pet bandana and decals that prove that your feline friends bleed Duke blue.

By stopping by the Duke Lemur Center gift shop or shopping online through Duke University Stores, you can give the gift of a soft, snuggly sifaka, ruffed lemur, aye-aye, dwarf lemur, or ring-tailed lemur. In addition to the plush lemurs, you can also lend your support to one of the real critically endangered residents of the Duke Lemur Center through the Adopt a Lemur package, which includes a plush lemur, a photo of your lemur, email updates about your lemur and more.

A Cool Collaboration

As part of its 20th anniversary celebration, the Nasher Museum of Art commissioned a limited-edition candle from local artisans at Bright Black that features Barkley L. Hendricks’ painting Magnolia #1. The candle has scent of honeyed red clover, pine and moss, evoking the uplifting, grounded feeling of a North Carolina spring. The candle is available at Parker & Otis at the Nasher Museum. With several works in the Nasher Museum’s collection and an annual lecture named in his honor, Hendricks’ connection to the Nasher Museum runs deep. You can learn more about his work with a reissued catalogue from his 2008 exhibition, the Birth of Cool featuring photos and rich illustrations of his work as well as new essays from Duke experts on his legacy.

The 2026 This is Duke wall calendar will showcases scenes from a year in the life of the university in full color all year long. Produced by Duke Marketing & Communications, the images are captured by staff photographers and highlight beautiful campus scenes and vivid moments from student life.
