Duke employee arrested on charge of embezzlement
She has been released from jail on $20,000 unsecured bond
A grants specialist for the Center for Child and Family Policy at Duke has been arrested on a charge of embezzlement.
Tina Davidson, 44, of Oxford, was arrested Monday in GranvilleCounty after Duke Police secured a warrant for her arrest on the felony charge. She has been released from the Granville County Jail on a $20,000 unsecured bond.
Investigators said Davidson is accused of diverting $27,272 in university funds for her personal use. Davidson worked in the center's office at 2200 W. Main St. in Durham.
