Come See Duke Chapel Decked Out for the Holidays, Wednesday

Each year at this time the Chapel’s sanctuary gets a Christmas makeover. The decorative transformation – called the greening of the nave – includes 12 garlands, 18 poinsettias, 34 wreaths and red bows, more than 100 candles and plenty of white lights.

Members of the Duke and local community are invited to tour the Duke Chapel fully decorated for the Christmas season and listen to familiar Christmas music at its annual candlelight open house. There is no cost to attend and no tickets or reservations are required. The Wednesday, Dec. 19, event starts at noon and ends at 2 p.m.

Free parking is available on a first-come basis in the Bryan Center Parking Garage. Vehicles with an ADA permit may park on the Bryan Center Surface Lot.
