While the path to retirement takes years to navigate, the journey to sit down with your retirement advisor just got a lot shorter.

Fidelity Investments, the primary record keeper for Duke’s Faculty and Staff Retirement Plan, has opened an office at Erwin Square that is dedicated solely to the needs of Duke staff and faculty.

The new office, which is a short distance from Duke’s main campus and features free parking, will offer appointments from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Walk-in appointments are also accepted.

The Erwin Square space is in addition to 12 other locations where employees can meet with one of four Fidelity Investments advisors.

“We will still meet you in those spaces, this is just another alternative,” said Chris Mann, a director and financial planner for Fidelity Investments and one of the advisors. “And it’s right off campus, which is a big part of it. This office can serve a broad range of Duke employees.”
