Transit Schedule Adjusts for Thanksgiving 2019

Duke will adjust its transit schedule and parking lot availability during the Thanksgiving 2019 holiday.

No Duke transit service, including Duke Vans, will operate on Thanksgiving day, Nov. 28.

Reduced bus service will operate Friday, Nov. 29, with no service for H2, H5, H6 and PR1 and limited C1 and LaSalle Loop holiday service schedules. Weekend and afterhours access parking rules for employee and student motorists will be in effect Nov. 28 through Dec. 1.

Transit adjustments are as follows:

Wednesday, Nov. 27 

• H2, H5, H6, PR1 operating regular service schedules
• C1 route runs 20-minute service from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. (1 bus)
• LaSalle Loop (LL) runs 30-minute service 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• SWS runs 17-minute from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Duke Vans service ends at 11:59 p.m.

Thursday, Nov. 28 - Thanksgiving

• No Duke Transit, Duke Vans service or Duke Downtown Shuttle

Friday, Nov. 29

• Duke Vans resumes service at 12:01 a.m.
• No H Routes
• No PR1 Service
• C1 route runs 20-minute service 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.  (1 bus)
• LaSalle Loop (LL) runs 30-minute service 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• No C1X, C1S, C3, SWS service
• No Duke Downtown Shuttle

Saturday, Nov. 30

• C1 route runs 20-minute Saturday service schedule from 8:15 a.m. until 9 p.m. 
• Duke Vans operates regular service

Sunday, Dec. 1

• C1 routes operate normal Sunday service (2 buses)
• Duke Vans operates regular service

Parking garages and surface lots will operate under afterhours and weekend access rules Thursday through Sunday for employee and student motorists. Visitors will be required to pay the regular hourly rate.

Parking and Transportation Services offices will be closed on Nov. 28 and 29.
